House Venter, Bronberg, Pretoria

This quaint family home has an almost farm style cottage feel to it. The client wanted a unique home but one that does not stand out too much from the surrounding houses in the estate. The building is detailed yet simple in its planning and layout. There is a very sculptural feel to the house as the elevations are very staggered with overhangs and recesses. Earthy and simple materials were blended in a tasteful way to give the house a modern but very practical experience.
